I believe one of your "expert" analysts was trying to snow you. In discussing the Israeli attack on Lebanon, Edward Luwwalk stated that when you see a bright explosion it means an ammunition depot has been hit. (implying a military target). However when an ammunition dump is hit you get a multitude of secondary explosions, not a single bright light. That is just a big bomb going off. And by the footage shown they are hitting 10-13 story residential housing units...not the type of structures used to store anything above small arms.
